You should hear about elections soon - check your mail box.  All SCCA members who have the Glen region as their main region can vote.  The offices that are up for election are the Regional Executive (RE), the Assistant RE, Secretary, Treasurer and Activity Director.  There also is some number of the four Directors to be elected.  Directors serve a two year term (maximum of two consecutive terms) and the terms are not in sync with each other.  So typically there are one or two director spots open.
 
The Solo Chair is appointed by the board which is composed of the above (plus the most recent RE).  The Solo Chair then selects a board.  But this is typically handled by the solo folks and not really cast in stone.  Actually Solo uses an anarcho-syndicalist selection process involving significant amounts of beer and chicken wings.  Then someone gets clubbed over the head and declared Solo Chair.  It's not a pretty sight...
 
If you go to the Glen site under Official Info you'll find the board and other appointed officials.

When, where, how are elections conducted? Are there Solo Board as well as general Board positions up for vote?
