The CP Trans Am blue beast has gone to a new home in Toledo OH, but my some has changed his mind and will not be selling me his red CP Trans Am (he's keeping that plus the supercharged Viper he found last summer.....lucky kid!)

I tried auto crossing my winter beater car today ('98 Mercury Mystique), but I'm hooked on high torque and horsepower. It may not be the fastest on the autox course, but a modified v-8 is sure fun. I'm anxiously looking for a solid dependable street car that is also road course and Autocross ready. If anyone has one or knows of one, please let me know. I'm thinking Corvette C5 Z06 or RX-7 with an LS1 or something else with a high HP-weight ratio. Please let me know at ealudewig@twcny.rr.com or cell 607-351-5999.

Yes. Someone bought my Mystique the following week........no more GS racer :-( However, I'm getting a 2005 Jaguar S-Type R 400hp supercharged factory stock tbat should do pretty good in FStock. It'll take me a few weeks to get it here from Cbicago, but you should see me with it at an event or two before the season is over.

Oh, that sounds lovely. Can't wait to see it!

Supercharged V-8, correct? (That's what Wikipedia says) Is that really in F Stock?

Yeah, that's what the Solo rulebook that is on our glen-scca website says. This 4 door luxury vehicle is 4400# and 115" wheelbase, which means that it's not going to run through slaloms or 180degree turns like a MiniCooper. FStock makes sense... it's a big-hp, rear wheel drive in the same category as a v-8 Mustang or Camaro.

FWIW I updated to the 2012 rule book.  Not sure if it changed anything with this topic.

Well, the link on our site is the same as the one on the national site.  I just copied it.  Have you tried just a right-click.... Save as...  ??  Maybe you have a problem with Adobe?
