The Glen Region SCCA was represented at the Southern Tier Speedworld Show in Binghamton on March 2nd thru 4th. On display we had videos and slide shows of SCCA activities at Watkins Glen. We also had two cars to display. Brad Brooks brought his HP #15 Rabbit Matt Bernard had his #20 ITE firebird to display Also in attendance with Brad and Matt were Matt's wife Linda, Brenda
Brooks, John Hellmers, Nancy and Dave Cole. The show mostly featured the local
dirt tracks and cars from the southern tier area and our presence was a
surprise to many. A big thank you goes out to those who donated old Sportcar magazines to hand out. To John Hellmers who made the slideshow dvd of the Glen Nationals and especially to Matt and Brad for bringing their cars to display. Judging from responses we received we may have some new members in the future . All of the Glen members who helped out said that this was a fun weekend and was well worth our efforts. Dave Cole |
